The Lodge Casino & Hotel at Black Hawk was the first of the biggest casinos to hit Black Hawk and the first to bring a hotel to town. Even today there are only two hotels operating in Black Hawk. The Lodge Casino and Hotel + The Isle of Capri Hotel & Casino.
The Lodge Casino has one of the largest poker rooms in Colorado with eighteen tables hosting the following poker games: No Limit Texas Hold'em, Seven Card Stud, and Omaha Holdem. They know how to treat table players here. You'll also find seven live blackjack tables to choose from. The Lodge gaming area has 900+ slots to choose from + video poker.
The Lodge Casino and Hotel is probably the most central casino in Black Hawk. If you are coming up Hwy 119 from Golden or Denver, it is located at the second intersection directly across from the Mountain High Casino and Richman Casino, with the Mardi Gras Casino right next door, too. You can easily walk to the old downtown district from the Lodge Casino making it a real nice place to spend the night. The hotel is nice and comfy, too.
Dining is also not a problem with the Lodge's three restaurants including the White Buffalo, a very nice upscale restaurant that overlooks Black Hawk - it's the silver thing at the end of the casino. If you'd rather the Lodge also has buffet style dining, and a deli, too.
