Casinos post increase in August revenue.
Colorado's casinos reported revenues of almost $63.9 million in August, a gain of only 2.1 percent from a year earlier, according to gaming division data released Monday.
Central City's gaming parlors posted a 27.7 percent increase, with adjusted gross proceeds of $6.2 million. Cripple Creek's casinos had proceeds of almost $14 million, up 3.7 percent from August 2004.
In Black Hawk, casino revenues dropped 1.25 percent to about $43.7 million in August vs. the same month a year ago. |
