| I'm looking for a place to stay in Black Hawk. The Isle of Capri rooms don't look very interesting. Anyone stayed in a Cabana Room? Is it worth $100 a night. Any auggestions on somewhere more cozy & romantic to stay. Have never been to the town before. Thank you! |

Hi Denise - thanks for signing up.
In my opinion, the rooms at The Lodge are very cool - they have a distinct "western" flavor that I really liked. I have never stayed in a Cabana room, however, so can't really compare the two.
The Isle has just opened a major expansion - both gaming and non-gaming space - which has really made the facility much nicer and far less crowded. Something to consider as well.
You might check into the Bread and Breakfast offerings as well - there's some nice options to consider.

| I've stayed in the Cabana Room several times and though it is VERY small, it is also very clean. Every time we have stayed there, the room has been spotless, especially the bathroom. I'd really like to get a suite sometime and see what that is like. It looks like they have openable french doors on the outside of the room. |
