There was a drunk at our table. He was very drunk. I mean pickled drunk. And you could tell that he had many years experience at being totally drunk, because he tried not to act drunk. But his face was beet red, his eyes glassy, and every move he made was slow and deliberate. He knew (from years of experience) that if he made any sudden move, he would fall out of his chair.
Every time it came his turn to act, he would sit staring blankly until the dealer told him to post, bet, fold, etc.
Finally, after about half an hour, the dealer said (as he had already for the last umpty rounds) "you're the big blind."
But this time, the drunk stared the dealer down for about thirty seconds, and then he finally said, "You know what? You're starting to get on my nerves."
The whole table erupted in laughter.
