Gaming industry reports Nov. 2005 proceeds
Colorado's limited-stakes gaming industry reported total proceeds of roughly $59.6 million in November, an increase of 11.8 percent from the same month a year ago, the Division of Gaming reported Friday.
Black Hawk's casinos reported adjusted gross proceeds of $42.8 million, a 10.8 percent jump from November 2004, while Cripple Creek's proceeds increased 11.9 percent to $11.3 million.
Adjusted gross proceeds measure gambling revenue minus the amount paid out in winnings.
In Central City, November gaming activity rose 20.1 percent to $5.5 million.
Despite the year-over-year gains, all three towns reported declines from October, the previous monthly reporting period.
