We all do it. We stroll the casino floor looking for full pay video poker machines. But those PROGRESSIVES always catch our eye.

Tempting, aren't they?

I've often wondered just how high the progressive jackpot needs to be for the machine in question (normally a far from "full pay" set up) to get close to 100%.

Well here's some numbers I found on the web. Thanks to Mr. Lenny Frome for figuring this out for us...remember, this is the ROYAL progressive amount to look for:

5-coin QUARTER machines:

Full Pay (9/6) Jacks or Better - $1200

Reduced (8/5) Jacks or Better - $2350

Reduced (10/4) Dueces Wild - Natural Royal - $3900

I'll continue looking for amounts for other games.
