Hello, I just joined, Ive been reading the forum for the last week and wish there were more posts but I have loved the Gambling Tips!, for someone who has always wanted to play Video poker I found it helpful, still confused but will hopefuly learn more.
We Are staying next week at colorado Central Station Hotel, we have Isle of Capri coupne for 49$, we go about once per month to spend the day and play. They put us up into the CCS, m not sure Ive even been there???, we play at Lodge and Isle. One concern I have is there are no pictures of the standard rooms at CCS and Im Disabled, I spend part of my time on Canes or in my Chair, but my Chair is size of Childs as Im Very very ill and very small now, will we be able to fit my Wheelchair into room?, hubby forgot to ask if they have handicapped room, do they? there are so few in hotels so when we do travel we noramly ask for suite , but were just staying one night so should be ok Im assuming. We love Vegas too and have been going there every couple years since late 80s, were not highrollers (slots (25,or Dollar$) Black Jack (low end), we lovec those 777 Machines at The Isle. So nice to meet you all. will get back to learning Video poker, still dont get it,ha,ha,haha.

Hi Jo - thanks for joining up...
The CCS Hotel is brand new, and while I haven't stayed there (yet) I have heard the rooms are very nice. Cool plasma TV's seem to be the hottest selling point.
About the wheelchair...
Both Isle and CCS have special "handicap accessable" rooms that MUST be reserved in advance. These rooms have special adaptations, bigger bathrooms, etc. ALL the rooms in CCS have big enough doors to run a chair (any size) through, but the standard bathroom doors would be very tight. Your smaller chair should be no problem, however.
Hope this helps.

| Both the Isle and the CCS are both REALLY clean. We love to stay at the Isle. The rooms are kinda small, but they are so clean and quiet that it doesn't matter. You are sure to have a good stay. Have fun! |

hi guys, got back from our trip to black hawk wednsday afternoon so been recuperating. GREATTIME!!!!!, Capri put us in the most excellant handicapped room, had the bath of a life, with tv in there too so could watch from the large mirror American Idol , loved breafast buffet the next morning. We went over WEdnsayd morning to get our free B day gifst nice lighted Pen with Isle capri on it, then we wanted to go sign up at new colorado Central station and get our free Tshirts and do some gambeling before we left for home. The gal at Railpass sign up was soo aweful, she said" well you alreaxdy belong to Isle I said ok so what, well its the same place, but you get a card here too, she didnt explain it well at all, (elderly woman but VERY uinfreindly) so I said " Look we want to sign up and get our free tshirt, we didnt ever get one at Isle either!. so finannly I said lets go hubby rolled me in my wheelchair and I said" STOP! I need to talk to a manager, It didnt matter to me if she was right or worong she was nasty to us and we were freindly. Manager came over and was SO nice, I told her its just not good business to traet people who come spend thier money that way, just the additude was what mattered to us. She AGREED totally. I also said I think the womans permed hair must be too tight, hah,ha we all laughed, you know I just wanted her to be told the truth, Im not dramatic about such things just stick to the facts. well She came back with 2 nice shirts and said Im giving you a free hotel room becaue this shouldet EVER happen to you, so anyutime we call up were in the computer system for free handicapped room. NOw thats good customer service andm pleased to say that you should GO spend your money at Isle and Station for sure! they are truly good hosts. were hoping to get back in late April or early May as I have to go back into hopsital next Thrusday for my Brain and Spinalcord ON my Birthday, but at least I have something to look forward to.
Ps I finally played Video Poker I stunk, it took too many coins to have enough good options so I need to know what machines next time to play???, hubby did GREAT on 50cent machines, couple hundred dollars payback. |
