Well, it's about time.
CDOT has made a formal request for $14.3 million in casino taxes, most of which will go to FIX 119 !!!
A gradual widening and smoothing out curves would be the start.
And then THE TUNNEL. At $200 million, the tunnel from Kermit's Corner (the bottom of Floyd Hill) to Highway 119 about 5 miles outside of Black Hawk, will require the casinos to ante up as well. They are ready with $150 million of it.
Let's start blasting !!!!
