I have a question...

It seems like the 1,2,and 5 cent video slots in Black hawk have gotten a lot tighter lately. Many palyers i talk to have the same impression.

So how easy is it for the casino to adjust payback levels on these fancy new machines? I know they are all "online" - because they are tracking my play with my player's card. Can the machine's performance be adjusted online as well?

Just wondering.

Hi Kathleen - thanks for your question...

I'm no casino "slot tech", but I know this much... casinos in most jurisdictions (including Colorado) CANNOT adjust payoff percentages online. Right now, it's both a technical and a legal (Gaming regulations) restriction.

A visit to each machine to change a "chip" is now required.

That's not to say it isn't done overnight, and possibly every night (though highly unlikely) at your favorite casino.

Good luck.
