HEY !!
There are folks wandering aroung ALL the casino towns collecting signatures to get a gaming initative on the ballot this Fall.
SIGN IT !!!
It will raise the maximum bet to $100 and allow casinos to stay open 24/7. The 24/7 thing will really only help the big boys with hotels - and the booze will still stop flowing at 2:00 AM - but it won't hurt anybody. And the $100 limit will help everybody. I mean the $5 limit imposed 12 years ago (or whenever it was) is like a $3 limit in today's dollars.
The businesses up there need a little help, especially after getting slammed with the smoking ban.
