Greetings,
I've been playing in online tournaments for a few years and have recently started playing in the free Denver Poker Tour events. I'd like to try my skills aka luck in a live tourament in Black Hawk. There are so many choices and I'd like to start out with buy-ins under $40 (if possible), $10 would be a great start. Are there players out there who've done the rounds at the casinos and can save me the hassle of trying them all?
Any suggestions to your casino choices would be most helpful.
Regards,
Dave
I don't think there are any $10 tournaments. Gilpin used to have some for about $40, but they look higher now. They have info on their web site: http://www.thelodgecasino.com/pokerroom.html

thanks much. I played in the $24 @ The Gilpin on Tuesday and finished 7th. I had a blast and loved the fact that all Gilpin Tournaments are non-smoking. I'll be there again real soon.

What was the 1st place prize in the tournament you`ve participated in? I think, if the game is worth the candle. Last time I`ve participated in a tournament organized by a mobile casinos uk(I was in a trip those time and didn`t have access to my PC). I took the 2nd place and won only 150 pounds (bankroll was 10 pounds). It was really sad to me.
