I know these scenarios are all situational- but ive ran into this tuff decision to make when it happens. Ill list a couple and maybe you can tellme what you would do.

A. Im holding 10-9s (3 others in the pot)
Flop is 10-9-J creating a tr8 possibility.
Say you are second to act-
Last to act-

B. Holding 56o on the SB- (2 others in)
flop is 5-6-K allclubs
first to act-
last to act-

Basically trying to feel out what to do with 2 pairs off the flop with a scary board.

Anyone what to make an advice for my play?
I consider this a newbie question.Though I've played the game that much to consider myself as a PRO.

I think you just need the discipline to know when to make him pay and know when in beat.

A). It depends on how it's been raised before you. If it gets checked around to you, bet! Odds are you've got the best hand. If you've been slow played, well, you've just got to deal with it. I'd bet about the size of the pot.

B). Flopped two pair with all clubs on the board? If I'm first to act, I bet like I've got the flush (only do this if you are viewed as someone who plays good cards). It gets rid of most of the flush draws. If I'm last to act, if it's only small bets I call or raise. If someone else bets the flush ahead of me (bets big), I just get out of the way.

How you play two pairs on the flop is probably the trickiest thing to bet in Hold 'Em and it is the toughest hand to play for a average player turning into a good player...

A. Second to act, check (if you can) or call if it's a small amount. If you're last to act, see what the bets are at, anyone betting big and I'd be straight out of there. Otherwise, small raise to keep the table interested, anyone that's willing to match you outright is one to watch.

B. Unless it's cheap, fold, no question. Yes you've paired up, but the flush is definitely on for someone there and if they come up with clubs you're in trouble.
