There's a new variety of VP available in Las Vegas these days, and although I haven't seen it in Colorado yet I imagine it's just a matter of time.
It's called 4-5 Bonus Poker, and plays like this:
You only get 4 cards on the deal, which means "dealt" winners are harder to get (5-card winners are impossible, obviously). The player discards as they see fit and a full 5-card hand is filled in. That's it.
Because those "dealt" winners are tougher, the pay table on this game is beefed up - to as much as 12/10 for Full House-Flush and even 2-1 for a pair of Aces.
