Folks - yesterday (June 5), Highway 119 claimed another life in a head-on collision.

I am REALLY tired of hearing about people losing their lives on this killer road.

SLOW DOWN !!!!

Better yet - TAKE THE CENTRAL CITY PARKWAY. Safer, faster, smoother.

And note to CDOT and Gilpin County - How many people have to die before you DO SOMETHING !!!

I'm with you, Gonzo - CDOT is just ignoring this death trap.

I was just up in the Glenwood-Aspen valley - long-time Colo residents will remember "Killer 82" - now that road was as nasty and dangerous as they get. You should see it now. Gorgeous. Wide, 4-lanes, less curves. Safe.

That's EXACTLY what they should have done to 119 a long time ago.

What's the hold up?????
