Does anyone have any information about this Poker Parlour? I have been unable to find a phone number for this place and would like to call for more information. I'm curious as to how many poker tables they have, and what games are played at what limits.... Inquiring mind wants to know... Question Question

Well, the last time I was down in Cripple Creek, this place was not open, so I can't be of much help. Yet.

I'll be going "down" in August sometime. I'll be sure to check it out and report back.

Steph is signed up (from the Cripple Creek Welcome Center) so I'll see if I can nudge her into shedding a little light on O'Riley's Poker Parlor

Put a call into them yesterday and am still waiting to hear back. I do know they are not open yet, they have been doing some renovations to the house they will be in. I will post as soon as I hear something.

OK, just talked to one of the owners. The place is projected to open around mid-September. The address is 124 West Bennett Avenue. They do not yet have a phone. They will have 6 tables and will have Texas Hold 'Em and 7 Card Stud. They will be open from noon to 2 a.m. 7 days a week. They will have beer, wine, sodas and water. Weather permitting they plan on having BBQ. They also will have homemade soup and snacks. If there's anything else we can tell you, don't hesitate to call or post.

I also have a question about what type of limits they play in those parts of the woods. Are there any No-Limit games, or are they all limit poker? I will be visiting in the fall, and I would like to have a good idea whats there before I arrive.

Hey Steph -

Maybe you could let the owners of O' Riley's Poker Parlor know about the gambling forum and they can come handle some of these questions on their own Very Happy

Wouldn't that be novel Smile

There is a $5 limit in Colorado. So each time the raise comes around, you may raise up to $5. (Steve can you verify I'm right?) So while you may only bet $5, the pots can be pretty substantial depending on how many players and how many raises.

Hey NLAngel, I don't know what happened to pseudoswede... he said he'd come help, but something must have come up. I will get to the bottom of this as soon as I get a chance, my wife is in the hospital now, so it may take me a second. (or two)

Thanks,
bernie

I appreciate all help and information. I prefer going to a place well informed instead of having to figure things out in a new place... I'm really looking forward to my trip this fall, though...

Cool

By the way, I hope all is well with your wife, if that is really you in that pic, she's one lucky lady...

LOL, I used to have my real pic up on here.... some know what I look like and I bet someone can vouch for the fact that I am MUCH more handsome than the guy in the pic.

Thanks for visiting the site!
